We just received word that the City of San Luis Obispo has cancelled all permitted use of the Damon Garcia fields this weekend in anticipation of the upcoming storm.

The SLOWS Redemption Tournament is still on for next Sunday, the 23rd, and that schedule will be posted shortly!
This year we’re moving to bracket play, and games will start at 8:30 in the morning. Stay tuned for more info!

Once again – NO GAMES WILL BE PLAYED THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16TH.

Hey SLOWS! Need to get some soccer in during the week?

Here’s a quick reminder that we have ‘unofficial’ SLOWS pick-up games on Thursday evenings at Damon Garcia. Games start at 6pm. These games are coordinated by Rachael via evite, so you must email her to be added to the list. Low numbers of RSVP’d players cancel games (under 8).

You also must be a registered SLOWS Player for these games.

Need to get your soccer fix in more than one day a week? Here are some options for you!

• CCSoccer Co-Ed League – Not pick-up, but well organized, co-ed 7v7 games on Tuesday nights. Click here for more information

• ‘Official SLOWS Pick-Up Games’:

• Monday: 5:30 pm Los Osos Monarch Elementary School in Los Osos off Los Osos Valley Rd., just pass the last traffic light.
• Tuesday: 5:30-6 pm Morro Bay Community Center off Dunes St., by the library in Morro Bay
• Wednesday: 5:30-6 pm Morro Bay Community Center off Dunes St., by the library in Morro Bay
• Thursday: 11 am in Morro Bay at Lila Keiser Park

Let’s end our Spring Season with some fun!

This is your chance to play each team one more time in a fun, 8v8 format.

You’ll have 8 games, each 30 minutes, with 10 minute breaks. Games start promptly ‘on the horn’!

Hang out all day and have fun, or if you think it will be hard to get everyone together try splitting them into ‘shifts’!

The after-party is at Gino’s Pizza on Monterey and Grand at 3pm, with 10% off on beer and pizza for SLOWS and their friends and family.

Here is the official 2016 Spring Season schedule! Games will be played at the Cal Poly Turf Fields.

A few things to note:
– Games will be played rain or shine!
– We are only using one field this season, and there are only 9 teams competing, so each team gets a bye weekend.
– There are no games the weekends of March 20th and 27th.
– There are no games on Mother’s Day weekend.
– Parking is not enforced on Sundays, so once again, parking is free – UNLESS there is a baseball or softball game scheduled. Then it is $4.
